Professor Derek Grossman

Professor Derek Grossman

Professor Derek Grossman is Founder and Chief Analyst of Indo-Pacific Solutions, LLC. He is also Professor of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Southern California.

Professor Grossman is an Adjunct Senior Fellow with the Indo-Pacific Security Program for the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) and Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Yusof Ishak Center in Singapore. Before RAND, he served over a decade in the U.S. Intelligence Community, where he was the daily intelligence briefer to the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency and to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Asian & Pacific Security Affairs.

Professor Grossman holds an M.A. from Georgetown University and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
